Basketball
Join Ali and Chris for a game of hoops. They’ll teach you the ins
and outs of the game. It’s a great way to improve your skills and
enjoy time with friends.
Boards and Blades
Grab your boards and blades to grind, flip, slide and cruise the
ramps on your skateboards or rollerblades. Bring your own equipment
(helmets are mandatory). Remember if you ride the school bus in the
morning you will need to have your skateboard dropped off at school
during the day. This class is held at Flip Side Skate park. We
need parent volunteers to drive students from Hawthorne to Flip
Side. Students will need to be picked up at Flip Side at the
conclusion of each class. Please note that this class can only
be offered if we get 2-4 parent volunteers to drive students to Flip
Side. For further information or to volunteer please call Ali
O’Connor at 546-3499.
